Médaille d'Argent Concours Général Agricole 2006.

The silver medal awarded for the 2005 Rosé rewards great technique: more than any other wine the rosé is a technical, process-made wine.
The extraordinary vintage of 2004 is followed by a more supple and fruity 2005 vintage, recognized by is peers.



Soil

limestone and clay, pebbly.


Grape varieties 40% carignan, 40% cinsault, 20% syrah.

Vinification rosé de saignée; 6 hours of maceration, at a controlled temperature of 17°C; addition of yeast.

Cellaring Potential consummation within 2 years.

Serving Temperature 10°C.

Maturation 6 months in vat.

Tasting this Lastours, pale pink in hue, is of great aromatic finesse: jasmine and honeysuckle, wild cherry plumsand mangoes. Its palate is equally elegant, well balanced and silky.

Food matches ideal for all your summer meals: grills, tabouleh, salad… indispensable with an aperitif !
