CHATEAU
DE LASTOURS |
Médaille d'Or Concours Général Agricole 2006.
The gold medal was awarded to the Château de Lastours 'Réserve' (top of the range) vintage 2004.
This medal represents a true recognition of the high quality of this cuvée. When domaines receive medals such as these it is usually for wines produced in small quantities (3,000 to 5,000 bottles). The number of bottles produced by the Lastours cuvée (over 20,000) is, therefore, impressive.

| Tasting |
produced from the oldest vines of Château de Lastours, this intense, coloured and powerfully scented wine, marries perfectly woody notes, vanilla and Mediterranean aromas (olives, dark fruitsand spices). The delicacy of its tannins and fullness of its character make ita wine of great distinction. It is the quintessence of Lastours.
